Book the 30-passenger. Here's why: (1) the price delta between a 25 and a 30 is typically only $30 to $50 per hour, (2) if the extra 3 show up and you're on a 25, someone is standing or sitting on a lap in a moving vehicle (a real safety issue), (3) if all 25 show and you're on a 25-pax, the dance floor disappears — you booked a party bus and got a shuttle.

The general rule: if you're within 15 percent of the next size up, book the next size up. The upgrade cost is small; the downgrade experience is bad.
